A New Face for the Cultural Exchange Van

Every year, the Cultural Exchange sends out a group of artists to communities throughout Saskatchewan for the Workshop Tour. For decades, the troupe has travelled to every corner of the province, bringing students workshops in dance, writing, music, theatre, and more.

All this travelling is done in the Cultural Exchange Van. Before the troupe takes off this year, it’ll be getting a facelift thanks to 2014 Troupe member Josh Groff. We’ll keep you up to date on the van’s progress.

The Cultural Exchange Supports Creative Kids

The Cultural Exchange is please to support Creative Kids. The Regina, SK-based charitable giving organization helps upwards of 200 youth achieve their creative dreams. This fall is just starting, and there are hundreds more children and youth wishing to participate in artistic and cultural activities this year.

Like Creative Kids on Facebook to see the exciting fundraising events planned this fall and consider donating to the organization to help reach even more families experiencing financial challenges that prevent participation in a variety of arts and creativity activities. If you know a family facing challenges in this area with a child eager to experience the arts, let them know the next Creative Kids application deadline is Friday, September 19.
