Hell Hounds

About Hell Hounds

Hell Hounds are a Symphonic Power Metal band from Regina, SK, Canada. Founded in early 2013 by Ryan, Joseph and Emma, the current line up was finished with Viviana, joining in July 2013, and Justy, joining in September 2013.
Only two months after finding a drummer, Hell Hounds played their debut show at the Club as part of the Five Bands for Five Bucks show organised by Carson Aaron.

The band’s music has since then become more melodic and powerful and has been adding more symphonic elements.
Since the debut show, Hell Hounds have been playing shows in and out of town – the biggest coup so far has been their opening shows for Saskatoon theatrical punk-rock troupe The New Jacobin Club.
Hell Hounds are influenced by various styles, out of which power, symphonic and death metal certainly are the strongest ones.

Third Ion

About Third Ion

THIRD ION is the product of a mutual love of prog, video games, and science. A project talked about, envisioned, and anticipated by Justin (ex-Into Eternity) and Aaron since they met, in mid-2010. A few of the songs have been in the works since shortly after that, but meeting Mike (ex-Devin Townsend Band) and getting him on board was the jump start needed to truly get this band off the ground.

With the addition of Tyler Gilbert on lead vocals, THIRD ION has completed recording their debut album “13/8Bit”, and with the help of Clawhammer PR have received worldwide airplay with an early released single of the song “Capitol Spill” before their fall 2014 tour.

Recently signed to Glasstone Records, the album is slated for release in May of 2015, with plans to tour Canada and Europe to promote the record.

2014 Headlining Tour Dates:

09/11 Winnipeg, MB – The Zoo (w/ Grand Master and Dissolution)
09/12 Regina, SK – The Exchange (w/ Magnetic and Room 333)
09/13 Red Deer, AB – The Vat (w/ Demise Without Reason, Valria, Plaguebringer, Wraith Risen)
09/14 Calgary, AB – Lord Nelson’s (w/ Kyoktys and Illuminated Minerva)

Altars of Grief

About Altars of Grief

Hailing from Regina, SK, Altars of Grief were conceived in the frigid winter months of 2013. The band draws from an eclectic musical background, weaving soaring choral arrangements with powerful, driving death metal and morose gothic doom with frantic, uptempo black metal passages. In 2014, the band released its debut album, This Shameful Burden, followed by a tour of central Canada in its support. Ever since, the band has been building its audience through fiercely passionate live performance, sharing the stage with the likes of Fuck the Facts, Insomnium, and Dark Tranquillity. In 2015, Altars of Grief is set to release it’s newest offering –– a vinyl split with Canadian blackened doom metal outfit Nachtterror, which will feature a far more diverse and melodic sound than ever before.

PSYBORUM

About PSYBORUM

Psy-bor-um is a combination of the words psyche, cybernetic and sanctum, which meanings altogether translate to; the human mind through use of computers is a sacred place. Psyborum is the prairie’s only industrial metal project, and is based in Regina Saskatchewan Canada. The debut album Simulate-Salvation pulls no punches with it’s melding of driving guitars and blasting industrial beats. Psyborum is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Nate “Hohrd” Cradock.

As one of the few synth players in Regina, Hohrd is a veteran of the province’s thriving metal scene, having played with world-renowned Into Eternity, the talented Memorial, circus grindcore funsters Cupcake, and conceptual black metal outfits Curse of Enki and Wold.

With a keen interest in electronics and industrial music, Hohrd began toying around with the idea of a harsh industrial metal project. Unsatisfied with his early attempts he continued his search in silence as he joined other bands to satisfy his need to be on stage.

In the late fall of 2008, after viewing an industrial show in Edmonton Alberta, featuring Imperative Reaction, S.I.T.D. and Aesthetic Perfection, Hohrd quit the local grind band Cupcake, and decided to get more serious with his project Psyborum. Hohrd began writing/constructing songs with intentions of playing them live in a grim and mechanical performance.

Electronic and rhythmic influences for Psyborum draw from industrial, aggrotech, and Terror EBM acts like Psyclon Nine, Alien Vampires and Suicide Commando, while embracing sampled tremolo guitars and harsh, high shrieked vocal style of black and death metal bands such as Behemoth, Arch Enemy and Dimmu Borgir. Hohrd uses unconventional sound effects and robotic pulses in this unique solo project. Imagine a dark orchestra of machinery playing the soundtrack to our unavoidable future…

Into Eternity

About Into Eternity

One of the most acclaimed bands in metal and undoubtedly one of its hardest-working, INTO ETERNITY borrows from all aspects of heavy music to form the perfect blend of technicality, memorable songwriting, traditional heavy metal and the sheer savagery of metal’s extreme genres.

Founded in Regina, Saskatchewan by guitarist Tim Roth in the late ’90s, INTO ETERNITY seamlessly melds the seemingly disparate worlds of extreme metal, hooky hard rock and challenging progressive music. Metal fans around the globe have hailed the technical prowess displayed on such critically acclaimed albums as Dead or Dreaming, Buried In Oblivion and The Scattering of Ashes, as well as the virtuosity displayed during their tours with the likes of Megadeth, Dream Theater, Lamb of God, Opeth, Symphony X and Iced Earth.
