The Exchange Regina Events - Mid-Winter Blues Festival

2015 Mid-Winter Blues Festival Lineup Announced

midwinterAfter 21 years, the Mid-Winter Blues Festival isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

The event’s scale hasn’t diminished at all, in fact; for 2015, the Regina Blues Association will be putting on six days of blues music in venues across the Queen City, including the Casino Regina Show Lounge, the Regina Performing Arts Centre, Bushwakker, and Lancaster’s.

The Exchange isn’t being left out. On Thursday, February 26, there’ll be a full night of blues-rock on the stage, featuring Apollo Cruz, Regina, SK’s Spellbound, Regina, SK’s Billy Hughes and the Double Down, and Regina, SK’s Richie Pollack and Someone Else’s Kids.

Go to the Regina Blues Association’s website for more information on the festival.

Season Greetings from the Cultural Exchange

We hope everyone has a fulfilling holiday season in 2014 and into the New Year.

The Cultural Exchange returns to regular office hours on Monday, January 5.

GrassRoots Regina Already Planning for 2015

The people behind GrassRoots Regina are some of the most prolific presenters to bring shows to the Exchange and the Club, and they’re already planning to continue into 2015. So far they have Kim Beggs booked in the Club on Saturday, January 31 and J.P. Cormier in the Exchange on Wednesday, April 8. Go to their website for more information on these and whatever other shows they add to our venues in the next bit.

Zandra Productions recently announced that Napalm Death will be in the Exchange on Friday, February 13, 2015 with Voivod, Exhumed, and Iron Reagan. Advance tickets will be $30 at Vintage Vinyl, Madame Yes, and online at TicketEdge. This is the kind of show that will almost certainly be a sell-out, so grab your tickets as soon as you can or risk being disappointed.
